A LITTLE BACKGROUND...
I was born and raised near the little town of New
Ross, Indiana, and am the oldest of 5 children. After graduating
from
Southmont High School in 1989, I attended
Knox College in Galesburg,
IL, earning a bachelor's degree in history in 1993. In the two
years following, I decided to pursue teaching certificates in both
elementary and secondary education. I have taught a wide
variety of subjects and grade levels, from middle school and high
school language arts and Spanish classes to kindergarten and
preschool. The 2013-14 school year marks my first year in the
Kimball School District and my 16th year teaching in an early
childhood setting. I am excited for the opportunity to share my
experience and continue my growth in this community!
MY FAMILY LIFE...
My husband, James, and I live with our four
daughters, Sidney, Josie, Rylee, and Alli just outside of White
Lake. We run a cow-calf operation and have lots of horses, too!
In addition to helping raise our daughters and helping James around
the ranch, I enjoy gardening, cooking, reading, running, and
watching a variety of sports...my favorites being Indiana Hoosiers
Basketball and Denver Broncos Football! :)
